PlanPlus by Curant Health Renames Clinical Services Department to Member Experience & Outcomes Team, Reinforcing Commitment to Member-Centered Care

PlanPlus by Curant Health announced today the renaming of its Clinical Services department to the Member Experience & Outcomes Team (MEOT), a change that underscores the company’s continued focus on improving how members experience their health plan and supporting better health outcomes. 

The new name reflects the core organizational belief that meaningful healthcare impact starts with the member. As health plans place increasing emphasis on member experience, engagement, and measurable outcomes, the Member Experience & Outcomes Team more clearly represents the work PlanPlus does every day to support members throughout their care journey. 

“This evolution reinforces what has always been at the heart of our work: the member,” said Michell Butler, PharmD, Sr. Director of PlanPlus Operations, leading the Member Experience and Outcomes Team. “Our team goes beyond traditional clinical support to engage members in meaningful ways, remove barriers to care, and help ensure they feel supported, informed, and empowered. The Member Experience & Outcomes Team name reflects that purpose.” 

The change comes as Curant Health continues to grow and expand its offerings, including the launch of its three Business Units in 2025 including PlanPlus, its health plan–focused solution. While the responsibilities of the team remain unchanged, the updated name better aligns with the language, priorities, and accountability measures of health plans. 

Health plans are evaluated on member experience and outcomes such as medication adherence, quality performance, CMS Star Ratings, and HEDIS measures; areas where PlanPlus plays a direct and meaningful role. The Member Experience & Outcomes Team supports these goals by engaging members holistically, improving care experiences, and acting as a trusted partner to health plans. 

“The term ‘Clinical Services’ can mean many different things across the healthcare landscape,” Butler added. “Member Experience & Outcomes more accurately reflects the impact our work has on the people we serve and the results our partners care about most.” 

By placing members at the forefront, the Member Experience & Outcomes Team name captures PlanPlus’s commitment to delivering care that is personal, proactive, and outcomes-driven, while strengthening partnerships with health plans nationwide.
